Middle/Left mouse button behavior on playlist scroll?

I'm wondering if it's possible to add a page up/down behavior for the left mouse button when clicking in the slider area. I have a LARGE music collection and sometimes I am trying to find songs that are only a page or two from where the current view is. Keeping the middle mouse button's behavior for the scroll is fine. I'd be happy to make the changes myself but I can't seem to figure out how that's handled at the moment.

Which GTK version are you using?

Since GTK+ 3.6 the behavior is like this:
- Left click: jump to clicked position
- Right click: scroll one page up/down
- Middle click (wheel): ignored

Did I understand you correctly that you want to change this behavior?
Or is the solution to use the right mouse button?

And by the way, to find a song easily you can use the "Jump to Song" dialog in the menu "Playback". :)
