Description

Over the course of several updates in the last few years the lower panel has been "updated" in several ways I dislike:

1) Somewhere after 3.2.1 the background was changed. It used to be black. Now an annoying "chrome" effect has been implemented in an apparent attempt to add a shadow effect to that panel. Not only does this not achieve the desired effect, any such effect is inappropriate. It's a window. Not a button. Please remove the "chrome" effect and return the panel background color to BLACK. Alternatively, make it skinnable or selectable in preferences so I can change it.

2) Sometime prior to 3.2.1 the RTA display itself was reduced in size and an annoying "mirror" effect at its base implemented. I don't want cosmetic fluff in this area. I want the largest RTA possible within the vertical dimensions of the panel. Please remove the mirror effect or provide a skinnable / preferences interface to eliminate it.

3) At around the same time as #2, the RTA display colors were changed from all white across the frequency spectrum to a color shift from dark blue at low frequencies to white at upper frequencies. Not only does the darker blue suffer from reduced contrast with the black background...it also looks sorely out of place as the RTA levels clash with the "chrome effect" from #1.
