Description

Hi all,

It's a strange Audacious behaviour, and maybe occurring only with me, let me explain :

When playing a flac audio file (16 bits 44.1KHz), say at 10% volume (alsamixer), when going to next track, if it's a flac audio file (24 bits 96KHz), volume is pushed at maximum, without changing the percentage. When increasing volume, it just go to 15% and volume is really at 15%.

Another example, same behavior, with a flac audio file 16 bits at 48KHz.

It seems that it's the when changing track with different frequencies.

My config :
Audacious 3.6.2-1 (plugins 3.6.2-2). I think it's like that with previous versions.
Archlinux 64 bits
Alsa (no pulseaudio, no dmix)

Audacious doesn't change the volume between tracks. You are probably looking at an ALSA, driver, or hardware problem.
